Water and Light

This is a woman bathing in nature, like a siren emerging in the warm sunlight. The impressionistic style leaves some to the imagination. The shadows from the surrounding landscape cast dark movement on the surface  of the rippling water. The cool blues of the water move up into the sheer dress on the figure creating a beautiful play of temperature against the sunny halo. It's a seductive piece, drawing the viewer into the water and beyond.
