Going Out

The model is a dear friend of the artist, one whom she sees as a strong, confident and remarkable woman. The moment was captured as she was getting ready to go out and the juxtaposition of her shoes, the vintage carpet, furniture and her scarf hanging create a very intimate feminine scene. This is a beautiful glance at everyday life for women. It's something we can relate to and therefore feels very endearing.
